We are a renewable energy company headquartered in Aotearoa New Zealand and active internationally.Our team has extensive expertise in delivering solar technologies, integrated with other renewables, to meet energy demands and displace traditional fuels.At FST solar, we take a holistic approach to our work, empowering local communities through training in the operation, maintenance and delivery of renewable and hybrid energy systems.
Dr ANTOINE BITTAR,
Managing Director
Tony has a science research background in physics, light and solar energy, and international experience at the highest level of the solar industry.
A company founder, director and consultant to national and international companies and financial institutions, he has unique skills in the design and delivery of innovative solar projects, large and small.
He set-up FST solar to deliver renewable energy systems in Aotearoa and in the fourteen Pacific Islands (including Kiribati and Tuvalu) at community, residential, commercial and utility scale.
IAN SHEARER,
Director
Ian is a power engineer of longstanding with design, construction and commissioning expertise. He has held leadership and management positions in the renewable energy industry and is a founding member of the Photovoltaic, Bioenergy and Sustainable Electricity Associations in New Zealand.
He has consulted in wind energy for Windflow in the UK and in New Zealand, and was secretary for ICLEI: Local Governments for Sustainability in Oceania and Europe.
He is a passionate advocate for sustainability and community engagement and offers support and leadership for technical engineering education and development.
